 Weekly Torah Study class every Wednesday at noon in room 4 (in person only). Bring lunch and get ready for some in depth Torah talk.

No registration required. Not yet members are welcome to attend!

The forthcoming Torah classes will be in a discussion format. Rather than have a
lecture with time for Q and A, sections from the week’s Torah portion will be read.
Those attending will be responsible for analyzing the text and sharing these
interpretations with others in the group. We will not be searching
so much for THE TRUTH as exploring the various possibilities that people find
within the texts. This is the traditional manner of Midrash, which really means
delving into texts and ourselves in a free exchange of views. The rabbi’s role here
will be to stimulate possible ideas, ensure that communication is open and
respectful, and provide any needed information. The Text will be provided,
but the fundamental teaching and interpretations will be provided by students.
